Sdet Software Development Engineer Test

We are looking for a meticulous Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to contribute to and review the creation of designs for production software. The SDET's responsibilities include writing automated tests and focusing on the testability, robustness, and performance of software. This role requires strong programming skills to create automation testing tools, frameworks, and regression test suites that support deployments across environments.

To be successful, candidates should possess excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills, along with a passion for software design, development, testing, and continuous learning.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Engage extensively in QA testing across multiple system touch points with a significant focus on automation.
• Design, document, and implement comprehensive automated test plans, complemented by strategic manual testing.
• Transform requirements documents into detailed automated test scripts and scenarios.
• Refine testing strategy by integrating advanced automation frameworks and tools.
• Understand testing across multiple cloud-based application touch points.
• Collaborate with analytical teams to develop robust testing packages consisting of automated and manual tests.
• Implement and manage automated testing frameworks supporting CI/CD processes.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Communicate project progress effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Utilize spreadsheets and scripting for test automation activities.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 8+ years of combined Functional QA and Test Automation (SDET) experience.
• Proven experience designing and implementing comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies.
• Strong experience developing and executing automated and manual test cases.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience working within SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Jira
  • TestRail
  • Selenium
  • Cypress (or similar automation frameworks)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
