Seasonal Business Tax Expert – Intuit At Intuit, we believe everyone should have an opportunity to prosper. Your role is to provide expert guidance, tax preparation, and plain‑language explanations of tax and technical terms to our customers. You will also help shape TurboTax Live Business. What You Will Do Maintain sensitive customer information securely. Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to provide accurate answers. Interact with customers via video communication and document interactions for accurate records. Engage with customers and team members professionally while promoting Intuit’s operating values. What You Need At least 3 years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065/1120‑S) for 20 clients per season. Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney. Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, 30 returns per year. Available 20 hours per week over three or more days. Bookkeeping experience strongly preferred. Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry customers preferred. State licensing, certificates, permits, or bonds as necessary. Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). Commitment to at least 20 hours per week in 4‑hour increments. Working knowledge of Circular 230. Proficiency with technology. Strong customer service skills via video/audio. Excellent verbal and written communication. Critical thinking, research skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision. Internet connection meeting Intuit security criteria. Compensation Bay Area California: $40.10–$46.20 Southern California: $40.10–$46.20 Colorado: $38.20–$43.90 Hawaii: $40.10–$46.20 Illinois: $38.20–$43.90 Maryland: $38.20–$43.90 Massachusetts: $40.10–$46.20 Minnesota: $34.40–$39.56 New Jersey: $40.10–$46.20 New York: $40.10–$46.20 Ohio: $34.40–$39.56 Vermont: $38.20–$43.90 Washington: $40.10–$46.20 Washington DC: $38.20–$43.90 This role offers a cash bonus and equity rewards.
