You will shape the direction of TurboTax Live Business while working at the #11 ranked company on Fortune’s Best Companies to Work For. What You Will Do Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products with sound professional judgment in an excellent and timely manner. Provide tax advice, full‑service return preparation, tax calculations, and manage product/software inquiries to advance our goal of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.” Maintain sensitive customer, confidential, and proprietary business information responsibly. Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language. Interact with customers and team members professionally, while adhering to Intuit’s operating values. Use state‑of‑the‑art video communication software in a virtual, customer‑facing role, and document interactions accurately. What You Need Strong business tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws: 3+ years preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120‑S) for at least 20 clients per season. Active unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney. Minimum 2 seasons personal tax preparation experience, 30 returns per year in a tax practice or retail setting. Minimum 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days. Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation strongly preferred. Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry customers strongly preferred. State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds obtainable. Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). Commit to a minimum schedule of at least 20 hours per week, minimum 4‑hour shift increments throughout the tax season. Working knowledge of Circular 230. Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software. Strong customer service skills – interact with customers via video and audio tools professionally. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills, determination. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision. Internet connection that meets Intuit Security criteria. Compensation Competitive pay ($40.10–$46.20 per hour in many markets) plus cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
