In this role you will help customers complete their taxes using TurboTax Business products and provide expert guidance on complex business tax returns. Overview You will be working toward advancing our goal of Powering Prosperity Around the World by providing expert guidance, tax preparation, and explanations of tax and technical terms to our customers. You will shape the direction of our newest product offering, TurboTax Live Business, while working at the #11 ranked company on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For. Responsibilities Maintain sensitive customer, confidential, and/or proprietary business information in a responsible, reliable, and safe manner. Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to seek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language. Perform virtual, customer‑facing interactions using video communication software, document interactions to maintain accurate records. Interact with customers and team members in a professional manner while adhering to and promoting Intuit’s operating values, including integrity without compromise. Apply sound professional judgment in completing customers’ taxes in an excellent and timely manner. Qualifications Strong business tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws with at least 3 years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120‑S) for at least 20 clients per season. Active unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney. Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns per year in a tax practice or retail setting. Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days. Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation is strongly preferred. Experience preparing business tax returns for service‑industry customers is strongly preferred. Possession or willingness to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds. Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). Meeting Intuit Security criteria for internet connection. Working knowledge of Circular 230. Proficiency with technology and solid knowledge of computer operations and software. Strong customer service skills – ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills, and determination. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision. Commitment to a minimum schedule of at least 20 hours per week in 4‑hour increments throughout the tax season.
