Job Announcement

Three Rivers Park District is seeking to fill a Seasonal Historical Interpreter position at Lowry Nature Center in Victoria, MN. This position is responsible for developing, conducting and enhancing interpretive programming to educate the public and facilitate an appreciation, enjoyment, and utilization of the environment and facilities of the Park District.

STARTING WAGE: $19.00/hour

A natural resources-based park system, Three Rivers Park District manages more than 27,000 acres of parks and trails in the Twin Cities area. It takes a dedicated team of full-time, part-time and seasonal employees to provide the high-quality opportunities and facilities that Three Rivers provides. Be part of this dynamic team, make a difference in the community and work where you play.

All seasonal employees receive a free Recreation Activity Pass, providing access to discounted or complimentary Park District programs and services.

Essential Duties and Qualifications

High School Graduate or Graduate Equivalency Degree (GED) and at least one year of experience or related training OR any combination of education and experience equal to the above. Bachelor's degree in a related area preferred.
Ideal candidate will have experience teaching children ages 4-14, experience in teaching outdoor or in a non-traditional setting, experience with summer camps, and ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
