Job description You will be a great fit if you have experience similar to: Assist with planning, setup, and maintenance of field trials and research projects. Collaborate with the Research Associate in evaluating and improving field trials to enhance efficiency, quality, and accuracy of research outcomes. Monitor field activities to ensure adherence to standard procedures and quality standards. Collect and record observational data accurately. Prepare and organize field materials, tools, and equipment. Report on field progress, issues, and outcomes to supervisors. Ensure a safe and efficient work environment for all field personnel. Require the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform repetitive tasks. Receive and distribute seeds for seed production, variety trials, product development and marketing etc. Coordinate seed productions of advanced breeding lines with parent seed supply manager. Coordinate with field and greenhouse crew in seeding, transplanting, crossing blocks, and seed harvest. Collaborate with plant pathologist, genotyping team in project submission, result tracking and data entry. What we expect of you To be considered, you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Plant Science, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field. Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience in field operations, agricultural research, or plant management and assisting in research trials or operational projects. Familiarity with standard field practices, safety protocols, and documentation. Spanish language is a plus.
