Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to provide technical support and administrative maintenance for Microsoft Office 365 cloud services. The successful candidate will ensure high availability and performance of these services, implement security measures, and serve as the primary escalation point for O365 cloud services within the IT team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and administrative maintenance for Microsoft Office 365 cloud services.
- Perform mailbox searches to identify and remove emails posing cybersecurity risks.
- Implement and support Microsoft cloud technologies and services; optimize and monitor for performance and security.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for all IT teams regarding O365 cloud services, addressing security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Implement and maintain email security technologies to prevent unauthorized access, phishing attempts, and account compromises.
- Create, maintain, and troubleshoot mailboxes, dynamic distribution groups (DDGs), distribution lists (DLs), and mailbox rules.
- Develop and secure O365 documentation for cloud services.
- Establish email-related standards and conduct periodic compliance audits.
- Work with the Security Analysts team to monitor, manage, and resolve security tickets in Remedy and Artic Wolf.
- Provide input on identity management solutions for the organization.
- Propose email-related policies for end-user security and behavior.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience administering, securing, and supporting Microsoft Office 365 tenants and associated cloud services.
- Strong experience in using Exchange PowerShell for scripting and automation.
- Experience with email security layers (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and cybersecurity tools such as IDS/IPS, Kali Linux, IoT security, Deception, Threat Hunting, DevSecOps, MITRE, and NIST frameworks.
Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or 5+ years of relevant experience) in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification (preferred).
- Microsoft 365 Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals certification (a plus).
- Microsoft 365 Messaging certification (a plus).
- Microsoft 365 Security Administrator certification (a plus).
- CompTIA Cloud+ certification (preferred).
- CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CEH certifications are highly desirable.
