Fully on-site near Philadelphia, PA.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer to join our IT team. This position will be full-time, on-site, and is a contract position.What You'll Do Remediate current vulnerabilities and ensure asset compliance across a variety of assetsPlan, design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems. Ensure high availability, compliance and performance of critical systemsDevelop, configure, and maintain desktop environments, while ensuring compliance. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring optimal performanceProvide advanced technical support to internal and business teams. Resolve complex technical issues and offer guidance on best practicesCreate and maintain detailed documentation for systems architecture, configurations, and processes. Thoroughly and accurately document the details of a stakeholder’s request or issue, document the diagnostic steps performed when troubleshooting the issue and assist the stakeholder with resolution using existing procedures and documentationMonitor work queue, open, update and close ITSM incidents on a timely basis ensuring a high level of service is provided by teamWhat You'll NeedA bachelor's or associate degree in a technical field combined with several years of relevant experienceA minimum of 5 years of experience in security infrastructure and desktop engineering, with a strong focus on Office 365 administrationProficiency in managing both Windows and Linux servers and workstationsExtensive experience remediating Windows and Linux operating systemsExtensive experience leveraging Intune, Tenable and DefenderProficient in Windows OS, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)Familiarity with network protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)Ability to understand complex disparate systems quicklyExperience with local domain and mixed level environments as well.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented environmentPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorThe pay range for this position is $65 - $80 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
