Job Title: Security Engineer (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, remediation, and reporting of security incidents.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in systems and applications.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Design and implement secure system architectures and solutions in alignment with industry best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and industry regulations.
  • Educate staff on security best practices and promote a culture of security awareness within the organization.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into the development and deployment processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technology trends to continuously improve security posture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Experience in information security or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and recommend effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
