- Job Role: Security Engineer
- Location: Burlingame, CA
- Experience Required: 8 years
- Main Duties: Design and implement secure solutions for medical devices, author cybersecurity plans, conduct risk assessments and vulnerability tests, develop security controls, ensure security is integrated into hardware and software architecture, provide security-focused guidance for other team members, work with 3rd party test labs, and participate in incident response and security incident management.
- Additional Responsibilities: Collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities, and work on threat modeling.
- Skills Required: Familiar with OWASP procedures, experienced with static code analyzer tools, capable of conducting code reviews for potential issues, fluent with code injection attacks, and has experience in identifying risks in cryptography signature, firmware updates, and in identity and access management attacks.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree.
