Title: Security Engineer

Location: Clifton Forge, VA - local candidates only
Position Type: Remote but must be able to work onsite once every 60-90 days
Contract Length: 6 months, extension likely

Position Overview:
The Security Engineer will manage and maintain CrowdStrike deployment, including its current and future implementations, as well as the Tenable vulnerability scanning system. This role also supports the M365 E5 environment, Azure deployments, and customer services, requiring strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with occasional on-site visits to Clifton Forge, VA.

Duties:

• Manage and Maintain CrowdStrike Deployment: Oversee the existing CrowdStrike installation and implement new configurations and feature sets to enhance security and functionality.
• Maintain and deploy Tenable configurations to ensure enterprise-wide vulnerability scanning and compliance.
• Assist in managing the M365 E5 environment and multi-region Azure deployments, providing technical expertise and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with employees, customers, and technical teams to identify and resolve problems across various information systems and platforms.
• Join the on-call rotation one week per month and document system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps to support operational efficiency.

Required Skills:

• 3 years of EDR Platform Management Experience
• 2 years of experience with CrowdStrike Falcon Platform Management
• 3 years of experience troubleshooting End User Issues
• 2 years of Azure IaaS Experience

Preferred Skills:

• 1 year of experience with Tenable Vulnerability Management
• 2 years of Vulnerability Management Experience
• 3 years of Microsoft 365 E5 Experience
