Job Summary:

• TEMA is seeking one armed and one unarmed security guard to ensure the safety and security of two Multi-Agency Resource Centers (MARCs) established for survivors of Hurricane Helene. These centers serve as a vital resource hub, providing disaster assistance and benefits to those affected.

Responsibilities:

Security guards will be responsible for:

• Monitoring the premises to maintain a safe environment for survivors and staff.
• Collaborating with representatives from FEMA, TEMA, and various state departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Providing assistance as needed while enforcing safety protocols.
• Responding to any security incidents or emergencies promptly and effectively.
• Ensuring that all visitors and staff adhere to safety regulations.
• Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a commitment to public service, and relevant security experience.
