Identifies associate behaviors and/or operational issues through exception-based reporting and CCTV that may cause shrink. Identifies trends; makes recommendations for improvement; teach, train and coach associates to effectively handle opportunities; monitor corrective action. Prepares detailed and accurate reports in a timely manner. Monitors criminal cases, appear in court and testify as warranted. Follows up, supports and resolves safety, environmental and regulatory issues as assigned by the Director. Assists in supporting safety awareness and compliance in Distribution, including assistance with Workers' Compensation and General Liability claim process, and maintain all OSHA records. Uses data to identify trends that may lead to accidents and make recommendations for process changes or improvements. Assists with all Distribution specific training related to safety and machine training and recertification. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED. Experience and Qualifications Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business or in Criminal Justice from an accredited institution Experience: 5 years’ in loss prevention, including 2 years’ experience in loss prevention management or related management Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Demonstrated experience conducting investigations Experience in using physical security systems (CCTV, EAS, etc.) Experience conducting quality reviews/audits Current AHA First Aid/CPR/AED certification Travel Requirements N/A Physical Requirements Regularly performs computer work and sits Occasionally walks and stands Seldom/never lifts up to 50lbs. Independent Judgement Develops objectives and general policies and procedures for a specific program or functional area of responsibility within general scope of established operational goals and plans. Day-to-day work and decisions do not require direction or review by immediate supervisor. End results are reviewed by supervisor.
