What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following post orders, access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, staging yards, and perimeter routes to help deter unauthorized activity and/or security‑related incidents. Monitor, document, and report alarms, suspicious activity, and/or hazardous conditions; respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed. Control entry and exit points by verifying identification, credentials, and/or vehicle information, following visitor management requirements and reporting discrepancies per policy. Complete detailed patrol logs, incident reports, and/or daily activity reports, and communicate security‑related information to supervisors, site representatives, and/or incoming shifts. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Have at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Maintain Act 235 qualification for Pennsylvania roles. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
