Conveniently located between Palm Springs and Los Angeles, Cabazon Outlets offers a unique desert landscape shopping experience nestled between the Santa Rosa and San Gorgonio Mountain Range. We are currently hiring Part-Time Security Officers to ensure a safe and positive shopping experience.

Part-time Security Officers earn $16-17 based on previous experience, and are offered to participate in 401k and paid time off. Enjoy the various benefits offered to our employees!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Protects the property both on foot and by vehicle, being visible and observant at all times.
• Maintains the security cellular phone and professionally responds to all calls for service within the Center.
• Ensures the safety, comfort and satisfaction of the shopping public by always exhibiting a professional and helpful attitude.
• Ensures critical areas of the property are being monitored.
• Maintains complete knowledge of all security operations, policies and procedures.
• Documents security activity using appropriate corporate and center security forms, always ensuring the work product is concise, accurate, and thorough.
• Assists the Security Supervisor and Security Director in implementing the center's Security work plan, assigned work activities, projects and programs.
• Performs all duties according to OSHA established health and safety standards.
• Assists the Security Supervisor and Security Director in training new security personnel.
• Complies with all Corporate and Security policies and procedures that pertain to the Center.
• Establishes and maintains working relationships with store managers and employees on an ongoing basis to enhance the security and safety of all employees and the general public.
• Performs special projects or other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or it's equivalent.
• 2 - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
• Must be able to complete the physical and mental requirements of the position with or without reasonable accomodation.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES

• Must be willing and able to obtain CPR and First Aid certificates.
• Must be willing and able to obtain designated licenses, certificates or specialized education and training as required by the state to be hired into this position.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a CA State Guard Card.
