ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide protection to ensure the security, safety and well-being of employees, and guests on property. Safeguard company assets. Perform duties in a manner that is professional, respectful and confidential to employees and property guests. Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures. Adhere to, and comply with, all policies, procedures, internal controls and Gaming regulations. Assist with investigation of incidents; question witness/victims when needed and report findings to Security Supervisor. Provide escorts for transactions and procedures including money, cards, dice, and sensitive keys. Drive guests and employees to local various destinations. Assists DCI agents when requested to do so. Ensure proper department uniform, appearance and grooming standards are followed. Attend all company required training. Adhere to all safety guidelines. Meet company attendance requirements. Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations Secure premises by patrolling property Remain in compliance with local, state and federal regulations Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and guests. Be able to drive company vehicles. To drive company vehicles, the employee must have a valid driver license free of reckless driving for five (5) years. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent required. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission License. Valid Driver License. LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be able to effectively communicate in English. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. COMPUTER SKILLS Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
