The Pauma Band of Mission Indians is seeking dedicated and reliable Security Checkpoint Officer to join our security team. This role is essential to maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and the general public. The Security Checkpoint Officer will be responsible for monitoring checkpoint, conducting screening procedures, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. Ideal candidates will be observant, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Conduct thorough security screenings of individuals and physical inspections.

· Monitor surveillance equipment and maintain awareness of surroundings to identify potential security threats.

· Enforce security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and protocols.

· Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement as necessary.

· Provide assistance and information to the public, addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.

· Prepare reports on daily activities, incidents, and security breaches, maintaining accurate records.

Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on security best practices and technologies.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certifications are a plus.

Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.

CA Drivers license and be insurable under the Tribe’s auto policy.

Must pass a security background check and drug screening.
