Job Summary/Company:
Sparks Group has partnered with a security and investigative services company and together we are recruiting for a dynamic and results-driven Security Sales Consultant & Contract Writer to join our team. This dual-role position is ideal for a professional who excels in both business development and contract management. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new client opportunities, particularly in the private and government sectors, while also drafting and finalizing service agreements, proposals, and RFP responses. This role is critical to driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the security services industry over the next 3–6 months.
Responsibilities:
Sales Development & Lead Generation
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across commercial, residential, and government sectors.
- Research local and state security needs, bid boards, and upcoming RFP opportunities.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with weekly lead generation targets.
- Conduct virtual and in-person client presentations, proposals, and service walkthroughs.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients for renewals, upselling, and referrals.
Contract Writing & Proposal Development
- Draft and review detailed security service contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), and pricing models tailored to client needs.
- Ensure all contracts are legally compliant and aligned with internal policies and deliverables.
- Collaborate with legal counsel or leadership on high-value or government agreements.
- Support the development of bid responses, grant applications, and special project submissions.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing structures, and service offerings.
- Provide monthly market reports and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Suggest innovative solutions or bundled service packages based on market trends and client demand.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, finance, and HR to ensure new contracts are operationally feasible and financially sound.
- Assist onboarding teams with client expectations, timelines, and SOP alignment post-contract execution.
Reporting & KPIs
- Maintain detailed logs of all sales activity in CRM or internal tracking systems.
- Report weekly on sales performance, contract pipeline status, and outreach metrics.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and proposal submission targets.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in B2B sales, security contracting, or business development.
- Strong understanding of the private security industry, especially in private sector or municipal/government contracts.
- Proven ability to write, negotiate, and close contracts confidently and professionally.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, compliance standards, and proposal writing formats (e.g., RFPs, RFQs, SOWs).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), and proposal management platforms.

This job is Fully Remote.
Pay Range: Hourly $35.00 to $40.00
