* Review system layouts and coordinate with engineering, project management, and sales departments for successful project execution.* Install, program, and commission access control, CCTV, and voice and data systems via laptop computers.* Produce field surveys and daily project logs of activity.* Responsible for programming, commissioning, and final acceptance by customers, engineering forms and end users.* Perform troubleshooting and enact effective resolution.* Deliver projects on schedule and within cost budgets.* Assist in the oversight of project and vehicle inventory.* Provide support, guidance, and expertise to other technicians.* Demonstrate proper operation of equipment and control units to customers, including instructions and how to respond to any system signals.* Communicate and coordinate with onsite contractors.* Comply with industry standard procedures and Sciens safety programs/policies.**WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU****WHAT WE’RE BRINGING TO THE TABLE**Pay Rate: $28 - $38 hourly depending on experience**THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL** Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Security Systems Technician with programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting capabilities and experience. This position will work closely with our sales team, field project teams, and clients to ensure a sound design, and seamless installation and commissioning of our security system solutions. This is a key position for our growing team and requires attention to detail in all aspects of executing projects. Customer and employee interface requires a high degree of effective human relations.
