To be the best fire protection company the industry has ever seen.Our continued growth and success has created the need for a Security System Technician working out of our Wilbraham, MA office.Here's a glimpse of some of the responsibilities if you are interested in joining our team:The ability to install, service, program, test, inspect and troubleshoot basic and complex security camera and alarm systems with limited or no supervision.May require some overtime hours at night, on weekends and at a moment's notice for emergency callsAbility to coordinate with contractors, customers, building maintenance personnel, and office personnel to execute daily workloadAbility to identify code issues and non-conformance issuesConfidence and accuracy making recommendations regarding system installation improvementsCommitment to respond and carry out to completion any troubleshooting and repairs on assigned customer systemsExceptional work ethic and attention to detailRequirements:Massachusetts Electrical LicenseHigh school diploma is required. Industry experience preferredIndividual must possess a valid Driver's licenseKnowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, Fire Alarm System Theory, OSHA Requirements, and Industry Standards for Security and Fire Alarm systems installationExperience with a variety of system manufacturing including Gamewell-FCI, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex, Honeywell, Firelite, etc.What We Offer: At Encore, we're all about creating a culture where success is celebrated.
