This role’s responsibilities are all focused on one thing: Customer Satisfaction. As a Semi Driver for Sunstate, you will be loading, securing, delivering, and picking up various types of large construction equipment at customer sites throughout your area’s metro. This role also consists of instructing customers on safe and proper use of all equipment, completing required paperwork, and following all DOT/FMCSA/Sunstate regulations and protocol.

Requirements

Preferred Qualities/Experience:

  • Two to three years of experience as a professional semi driver. Experience with hauling heavy construction equipment preferred.
  • You’ve got to have your DOT medical card and Tanker endorsement.
  • Be able to effectively and professionally communicate with co-workers and customers. Bi-lingual? That’s a plus!
  • High quality control. Respect your work and make it known.
  • Know your metro! Familiarize yourself with your surroundings and be able to follow pinpoint directions.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • CDL Class A
  • DOT Medical Card
