Senior Accountant/ Controller

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing financial reports, and supporting overall financial operations. This role involves analyzing financial data, reconciling accounts, and assisting in audits to maintain accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Assist in tax preparation, compliance, and reporting.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls.
• Coordinate and support audits, both internal and external.
• Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable standards.
• Support cash flow forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Mentor and guide junior accountants and finance team members.
• Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) to maintain accurate records.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience in manufacturing a plus
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA)
