Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant for an excellent full-time and on-site position located near the Bryan, OH area. Responsibilities include

• Maintain G/L journal entries, reconciling inventory transactions, and analyzing Purchase Price Variance, Labor, and Overhead Variances
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
• Support month-end, quarter-end, year-end close processes and meet deadlines
• Monitor AR aging; follow up on past-due accounts
• Some A/P as needed
• Assist with financial statements and budget-to-actual reporting
• Support external audits, internal reviews, and compliance
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and financial data integrity
• Identify/escalate unusual cost trends and discrepancies

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 5+ years accounting experience; with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting
• Experience with A/R, A/P, and general ledger in manufacturing, strong understanding of debits and credits
• Proficient in ERP systems, financial modules, and advanced Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, deadline-driven
• Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately
