Role Description We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Senior Accountant to join our fund accounting team. This is a critical role with significant responsibility for client service delivery, financial reporting, and the execution of complex accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy, reviewing the work of others, and contributing directly to the management of client relationships. This position offers a unique opportunity to move beyond routine tasks and engage in the intricate, high-stakes accounting that underpins the private equity landscape. The role can be structured as a hybrid position based in our Aventura, FL office or as a fully remote position for candidates with exceptional experience and a proven track record of success in a distributed work environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review quarterly, and annual Net Asset Value (NAV) packages for a portfolio of private equity and alternative investment funds. Execute complex consolidation and elimination entries for multi-tiered fund structures and investment vehicles. Manage the preparation of comprehensive financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Calculate and review management fees, carried interest waterfalls, and capital account allocations for limited and general partners. Serve as a key point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and ensuring timely, accurate delivery of all reporting. Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring a seamless and efficient engagement. Mentor and support junior staff, providing guidance and reviewing their work to ensure accuracy and adherence to firm standards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, controls, and best practices to enhance efficiency and scale our operations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
