Senior AccountantCFS has partnered with a repeat client to help fill their Senior Accountant role. This role focuses on monthly close activities, expense accruals, reconciliations, balance sheet management, and audit support. This role is great for someone that enjoys working cross-functionally and playing a critical role in the success of a finance team. Why this company? Responsibilities: Execute monthly close processes, including journal entries, standard expense accruals, reconciliations, and preparation of balance sheets. Support the annual financial audit and collaborate with external auditors. Coordinate and compile data for the ICR filing with the Department of Health. Prepare and organize information for IRS Form 990. Fixed assets, record contributions, and support accounts payable processes. Collaborate with the AP team, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate processing of invoices and payments. Perform budget vs. actual analysis for several of the organization's largest departments. Work closely with departmental leads to support financial planning and variance analysis. Partner with Development, IT, and other internal teams to support financial initiatives. Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, providing requested documentation and insight. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3-5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or nonprofit environment. Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including large datasets, formulas, and pivot tables). Experience with Meditech is a plus, though not required. This position is full-time onsite in Valhalla, NY offering $80,000-$100,000 depending on experience.#INMAY2025
