Overview Senior AI Solutions Engineer (Engineer Senior). This role is based in Pulse Point, Atlanta, GA, with a hybrid work model requiring office presence 1-2 days per week. The position focuses on building and scaling intelligent systems to improve healthcare outcomes across client groups and business units.
Responsibilities Maintain active relationships with product, data, engineering, architecture, and business teams to translate business problems into scalable AI/ML solutions.
Apply AI/ML capabilities and modern AI tools to solve business problems, improve healthcare outcomes, and enable adoption across workflows.
Own the change‑request process and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
Provide technical advice and influence decisions affecting AI/ML and analytics solutions.
Research and propose new technologies, stay current with AI developments.
Design, build, deploy end‑to‑end ML and LLM‑based systems (data pipelines, models, prompts, APIs, monitoring).
Develop, evaluate, deploy, and monitor models for predictive, classification, optimization, personalization, and decision‑support use cases.
Create applied AI solutions such as semantic search, RAG pipelines, and embedding‑based systems.
Develop production‑ready AI/ML services, APIs, pipelines; improve performance, scalability, reliability, usability, and operational readiness.
Perform technical design reviews and code reviews; provide leadership and mentor junior team members.
Coordinate on‑call support and ensure effective monitoring of AI/ML model performance.
Mentor, lead multiple or small‑to‑medium projects; influence engineering standards and technical direction.
Identify and propose strategies to solve technical problems affecting the team.
Minimum Requirements BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with multi‑dimensional platforms and business/technical applications.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences Masters or PhD preferred.
Advanced Python skills for machine learning and data processing.
Experience across the full ML lifecycle (development, deployment, monitoring).
Hands‑on experience with LLMs, embeddings, RAG, or modern NLP techniques using vector search technologies like OpenSearch.
Experience building production AI systems (APIs, pipelines, microservices).
Experience designing evaluation frameworks for ML/LLM systems.
Familiarity with responsible AI principles (fairness, explainability, privacy).
Experience with cloud‑based ML platforms and scalable architectures (AWS Bedrock or equivalent).
Healthcare domain experience, including data privacy and regulatory requirements.
Multi‑database and/or multi‑language experience.
Experience mentoring others, leading multiple small projects, providing troubleshooting support.
