Project: AIMS Upgrade and Migration

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior AIMS Administrator to support Atlas Air's AIMS upgrade and migration initiative. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and compliance of the AIMS platform, which is critical to airline operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the AIMS job scheduler to maintain platform uptime and service continuity.
  • Administer user accounts, roles, and permissions, ensuring secure and compliant access.
  • Track, manage, and resolve support tickets related to AIMS operations.
  • Export and manage operational data for downstream processes and reporting.
  • Provide Tier 1 3 support for AIMS, collaborating with the vendor and Atlas stakeholders for software updates, patching, and change requests.
  • Monitor and maintain data exchange between AIMS and other systems (crew payroll, rostering, flight tracking, ERP platforms).
  • Build and maintain operational reports and dashboards from AIMS support data (issues, tickets, uptime, etc.).
  • Ensure AIMS usage aligns with all regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver end-user training and maintain documentation of workflows and customizations.
  • Actively contribute to squad culture, delivery rituals, and support the chapter lead as required.
  • Deliver effective and accurate estimates, and support the collection and presentation of delivery metrics.
  • Participate in testing, documentation, and support of products.
  • Engage effectively with end users of AIMS and articulate how work contributes value to Atlas Air's strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience with AIMS Administration.
  • Experience within AIMS: troubleshooting job scheduler, user administration, permissions, tracking tickets, data exporting.
  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in their specialty platform.
  • 3+ years' experience in an agile delivery culture.
  • Experience delivering applications within automated CI/CD, SDLC, and automated testing environments is an advantage.
  • Airline or logistics experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global team.
