We have partnered with a global industrial electrical manufacturing company in Highland, IL area to provide them with a Senior Application Engineer Genset, Regulation, Protection. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized must haves for the Senior Application Engineer Genset, Regulation, Protection:

#1. BSEE, Professional Experience, or technical experience.

#2. Power system experience.

#3. Must have previous experience with gensets

#4. Interest in aspects of the evolving power system, such as DC power, DERs, IBRs, BESS, microgrids etc.

Requirements of the Senior Application Engineer Genset, Regulation, Protection:

• Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), relevant professional experience, or technical expertise.
• Willing to travel up to 40%.
• Background in power systems and related technologies.
• Knowledge of software tools for power system simulation and coordination.
• Interest in emerging power system trends, including DC power, Distributed Energy Resources (DERs), Inverter-Based Resources (IBRs), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and microgrids.

Other Key Requirements:

• A person residing in the Central United States would be ideal as this position supports all of North America, however other locations may be acceptable. This position requires up to 50% travel.
• No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
