About this role
ALC has an opportunity for a Senior Associate Project Manager who will manage the daily coordination of projects including preparing and maintaining budgets and staffing requirements, estimating project costs, gathering and analyzing data, preparing progress reports, coordinating project tasks, and identifying project problems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project plans, schedules, and budgets for projects under his/her responsibility, and identifies, develops, and gathers necessary resources to ensure project completion
Manage aspects of a project i.e., allocate resources, drive strategic planning, and assign tasks to ensure targets are met
Prepare reports to communicate the status of the project within the project team
Set objectives and guide the team to meet project targets, budgets, and milestones
Identify project problems and recommend solutions i.e., reallocate resources, change contractual specifications, and assist resolution development.
Act as a primary contact with the customer, develop relationships, understand the customers' needs, meet demands
Support the business development team; write proposals for projects, interact with client's executives, ensure that clients receive accurate, timely, and clear information
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of experience in the HVAC controls OR Building automation industry
1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
Clean and valid driver’s license
Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment above 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in HVAC (Building Automation Controls) (3- or 4-year program)
2+ years of Project Management experience
PMP Certification
Able to lead and motivate teams
Problem‑solving, planning, and project management skills
Working knowledge of project financial reporting
Deal with multiple challenges simultaneously
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short‑term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
