Responsibilities
- Complete reviews, compilations, audits, and research
- Develop plans customized to clients particular needs
- Lead all stages of the audit, including planning, fieldwork, and completion
- Prepare and detailed review of financial statements with disclosures in accordance with GAAP, including documentation, validation and testing
- Direct and perform detailed review for the work of our staff accountants
- Maintain a strong client focus, be responsive to their requests, develop cohesive working relationships with client personnel and the assurance team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Technical Abilities
- Knowledgeable of general financial accounting and cost accounting
- Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
- Strong analytical and report writing skills
- Experience managing multiple engagements at the same time
- Bachelors degree in accounting or another relevant field.
- 3+ years of recent experience working in public accounting and financial reporting.
- Strong academic mindset
- Highly ethical, responsible, and self-motivated
- Continuous learning mindset
- U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or authorized to work in the U.S.
