Whitman Advisory is partnering with a top-tier CPA firm in New Jersey that’s hiring an Audit Senior to join a rapidly growing team.

What you’ll do

• Support and lead audit engagements (audits, reviews, compilations) under U.S. GAAP
• Assist with planning, risk assessment, and audit strategy/timelines
• Prepare/review financial statements, disclosures, and workpapers
• Supervise/review staff work and provide feedback
• Communicate directly with clients and help deliver a strong client experience
• Stay current on accounting/auditing standards and updates

What they’re looking for

• Bachelor’s in Accounting
• 3+ years recent public accounting audit experience
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and audit procedures
• Experience mentoring/reviewing staff work (or ready to step into it)
• CPA in progress preferred (CPA a plus)
• Ability to commute for periodic in-office days as needed
