About the Role We are seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer located in the Metro Atlanta area to join our high‑performing engineering team. In this role, you will architect, automate, and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that support mission‑critical enterprise systems. You’ll collaborate closely with software and data engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions for our clients. This is a hands‑on senior role for someone who thrives in automation‑first environments, enjoys solving complex cloud challenges, and wants to influence DevOps strategy across multiple projects. You’ll be working with a team of ImagineX’ers on‑site three days a week in Midtown, ensuring strong alignment and a smooth partnership with the client. What You’ll Do Architect, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform or CloudFormation). Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms. Manage and automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling across multiple environments. Deploy, secure, and maintain Amazon EKS clusters and containerized workloads. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, X‑Ray, and related AWS observability tools. Partner with engineering teams to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows. Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, and network controls. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term reliability improvements. Champion DevOps culture, automation, and continuous improvement across teams. What You Bring 5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering. Deep expertise with Amazon Web Services , including services such as: EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS ECR RDS, DynamoDB, S3 VPC, PrivateLink, Security Groups, NACLs Strong experience with AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms . Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred). Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python . Hands‑on experience with Docker and container orchestration. Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, identity, and governance. Experience implementing observability and incident response workflows. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross‑functionally. Nice to Have AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, SysOps Administrator, etc.). Experience with service mesh, API gateways, or distributed systems. Background in .NET, Node.js, or backend engineering. Experience with FinOps or cloud cost optimization.
