Senior AWS DevOps Engineer | Contract | Remote Apply
Job Description
A major restaurant brand in the South is looking to expand their DevOps team. They are hiring for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer who can work hands-on and help them with several exciting projects to finish the remainder of the year. This is a 12-month contract role, with the option to be extended. It is fully remote position on the EST, apart from on-site meetings once a month in their local ATL headquarters.
Remember those exciting projects we referenced above? These are all Infrastructure and DevOps based, getting Kubernetes clusters upgraded and reviving their entire Terraform IAC base. The team is also wanting to move to Golang in the future - so you will be working with some of the lates technologies! Talk about a learning experience and great growth opportunity for the right person.

Contract Duration: 12+ Months.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8-10 years of professional engineering experience
- Experience working hands on with AWS and its services (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS)
- Proven skillset using Terraform and Ansible
- Strong knowledge of Datadog
- BS in Information Technology, Systems, or Computer Science
Desired Skills & Experience
- Resident of Georgia, and ability to commute to office monthly.
- Ability to mentor other developers on team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work from home daily with ease.
