Senior AWS Python Developer Location: Reston, Virginia, United States (client site may also be Plano, TX). Hybrid working model is acceptable. Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AWS Python Developer with a strong background in AWS cloud services, scalable application development, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building robust, secure, and scalable applications using modern cloud‑native technologies and development practices. Responsibilities Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable applications on AWS Cloud. Create and maintain AWS services and APIs. Implement CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, GitLab, or AWS Code* services. Automate tasks and scripts using Python, PHP, Node.js, etc. Maintain version control best practices and code deployment. Collaborate with product owners and architects to define features and user stories. Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and ensure quality. Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production. Document specifications, architecture diagrams, and design documents. Qualifications 8+ years of experience developing and deploying applications on AWS Cloud. Strong development experience in Python and/or Java for scalable code. Experience building APIs and web applications on AWS Cloud. Hands‑on experience with Terraform pipelines, GitLab, and AWS Code* services. Experience with Python, PHP, Node.js scripting and automation. Front‑end experience with Angular/ADK; TypeScript is a plus. Strong SQL skills and experience with DynamoDB, Postgres, Oracle, etc. Experience with application monitoring, tuning, and serverless deployments. Experience building automation testing frameworks. Participated in Agile ceremonies and using DevOps stack. Additional familiarity with Azure or GCP. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Compensation Estimated range: $95,800.00 - $154,300.00 (U.S.).
