Job Description
The Business Analyst – Management Center serves as a strategic liaison and analyst supporting cross-border coordination, compliance monitoring, policy evaluation, and project oversight between U.S. operations and affiliated entities in Taiwan. This role plays a critical part in improving communication, operational alignment, and risk awareness through the tracking of regulatory trends, policy development, and data-driven reporting. The Business Analyst will leverage Mandarin-English bilingual capabilities to support coordination with Taiwan-based teams, interpret technical documentation, and provide meaningful analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Job Description
Cross-Border Coordination
- Act as the primary liaison between U.S. and Taiwan management teams for legal, operational and procedural matters.
- Translate and interpret business and legal documents and communication between English and Mandarin.
- Facilitate information flow on cross-cultural, regulatory, and business process differences.
Document & Policy Review
- Analyze internal policies, procedures, and workflows for alignment with company goals
- Review and recommend improvements to company policies (Management Center policy, SOPs, etc.)
- Track regulatory changes in U.S. and Taiwan that may impact operations
Compliance & Risk Support (Non-Legal)
- Monitor operational or regulatory risks and flag them to the Legal or Compliance
- Track deadlines for licenses, audits, filings, or internal controls
- Support compliance-related data collection and reporting
Project & Data Analysis
- Support cross boarder projects with legal or regulatory dimensions
- Analyze trends in contracts, processes, or business performance
- Provide structured reports on operational/legal coordination between Taiwan and U.S. entities
QUALIFICATIONs REQUIRED: MINIMUM COMPETENCIES, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR PRIOR TRAINING
- 4-8 years of experience in business analysis, operations, compliance support, or international coordination. Cross-border legal experience and familiarity with East Asian regulatory practices are a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic mathematics, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills, including advanced English reading comprehension, grammar, and punctuation. Must be capable of producing clear, well-organized, and detailed narrative reports on complex subject matter.
- Intermediate – Advanced level proficiency in all Microsoft Office software functions (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multi-task and to meet tight deadlines while (occasionally) working under very intense pressure
- Clear and practical communication with all business audiences.
- Proven collaboration across all service and business divisions.
- Advanced degree in Law (JD or LLM) or equivalent legal training is highly preferred due to the role’s frequent engagement with regulatory materials and contract-related documentation.
- Professional experience in legal translation, compliance, or contract review involving cross-border regulations is a strong asset.
- Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Law, International Relations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced degree (LLM or equivalent) preferred for roles involving legal document translation and regulatory analysis.
