Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Remote (Strong preference for candidates local to Phoenix, AZ)

W2 Contract

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in data engineering and data warehousing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient, experienced in gathering and documenting requirements, and capable of collaborating with Data Engineers, Architects, Developers, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise data solutions.

• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Engineering Analyst, or a similar role

• Strong experience supporting data warehouse, data platform, data integration, or data engineering initiatives

• Expertise in gathering and documenting business, functional, and technical requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and data analysis

• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data transformation concepts

• Solid understanding of source-to-target mapping, data lineage, and data definitions

• Experience working closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and Developers

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, or similar cloud data platforms

• Experience with Informatica, dbt, Airflow, or other modern data integration tools

• Familiarity with Medallion Architecture and Bronze/Silver/Gold data layer implementations

• Experience creating logical and physical data models

• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks

• Experience supporting enterprise data migration or modernization initiatives

• Background in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Architecture, or Data Management

• Experience using AI productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar technologies
