Lead II – Internal Audit
We are seeking a highly analytical Senior Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Analyst to join the Global Internal Audit team. This individual contributor role will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering advanced analytics and AI‑enabled solutions that strengthen audit effectiveness, improve risk identification, and generate actionable business insights.
The Opportunity
Design, develop, and deliver advanced analytics and AI‑enabled solutions to improve audit coverage, risk identification, and operational insights.
Translate complex audit and business requirements into scalable, defensible, and actionable analytical solutions.
Partner with Internal Audit teams and business stakeholders to integrate analytics into audit planning, execution, SOX reviews, operational audits, and enterprise risk initiatives.
Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.
Develop automated data preparation, validation, and reporting processes using SQL and Python.
Ensure high standards of data governance, privacy, security, and quality throughout the analytics lifecycle.
Perform data reconciliation, validation, and traceability checks to ensure audit‑ready outputs.
Estimate effort, prioritize work, and independently manage multiple analytics initiatives.
Develop reusable analytics frameworks, templates, and documentation to improve consistency across audit engagements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation and AI adoption.
Mentor junior analysts and promote analytics best practices across the team.
Collaborate within Agile teams by participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
What You Need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline preferred.
5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Audit Analytics, or related analytical roles.
Experience supporting Internal Audit, SOX compliance, Risk Management, or Finance organizations is highly preferred.
Advanced SQL for complex querying, data extraction, and optimisation.
Strong Python programming for data preparation, automation, validation, and analytics.
Experience with statistical analysis and analytical methodologies.
Hands‑on experience with Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI.
Experience designing and supporting data pipelines and ETL/data transformation processes.
Strong understanding of data modelling and reporting best practices.
Experience developing reusable analytical assets and documentation.
Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar code‑generation platforms.
Exposure to Microsoft Copilot Studio is a plus.
Working knowledge of React is preferred.
Experience using Jira and Confluence for Agile project management and documentation.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.

Compensation Range
$83,000‑$125,000 per year
