Senior Calibration Technician Apply
Responsibilities of Senior Calibration Technician:
- Calibration of test equipment (M&TE), both in house and customer location in most of the following disciplines: Dimensional, Electrical DC/Low Frequency, RF/Microwave, Mechanical, Temperature, Time & Frequency and Mechanical.
- Calibration of RF microwave equipment, signal generators, network analyzers, etc.
- Maintain primary and secondary in house standards
- Develop calibration procedures
- Train technicians
- Identify M&TE out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action
- Interact with customers, office staff and other personnel
- Evaluate Measurement Uncertainties
Requirements of Senior Calibration Technician:
- Minimum AA degree, formal PMEL training, or equivalent
- Math Skills Required: General Math, Algebra, Basic Statistics
- Valid driver's license
- Use of computers required (database, excel and MS word a plus).
- Great communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must have ability to work on own without much direction and be a team player
- Follow written procedures
- Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO17025 and Z540 quality standards
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Occasional standing and bending are required
- Travel in the Tri-State Area occasionally
- Attention to Detail
- A minimum of 5 years experience
