SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Provides assistance with implementation of the PSH Compliance Plan and Compliance Work Plan. Performs a variety of duties centered on compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; internal policies, procedures and Code of Conduct; accepted business practices; ethical standards; and contractual obligations.

Serves in the role of an expert in a complex high risk compliance area applicable to Penn State Health as defined by department leadership.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Five (5) years of related experience in health care compliance, internal audit, coding, billing, finance, or other related field required.
  • Certification in Health Care Compliance (CHC) or equivalent required.
  • Three (3) years of experience and knowledge of complex high risk compliance areas, which may include, but not be limited to 340B, Provider Based Requirements, Physician Arrangements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Coding certification preferred.
