We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Coordinator & Training Lead to help lead our Pathways Program. Pathways is a unique on the job training program that provides neurodiverse individuals an opportunity to learn the skills they need to put them on the Pathway to competitive employment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of services and implementing a comprehensive training program for our staff.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Senior Coordinator & Training Lead for the Pathways Program, your main objective will be to ensure the smooth operation of the program and promote the professional development of our staff. You will work closely with the Employment Services (ES) Manager and the Employment Services leadership team. You'll help coordinate and assign job coaches to various training sites, and play a key role in the design and implementation of an onboarding mentor program to help train new hires. Additionally, you will oversee the coordination of services for our Members and ensure that their individual needs are met.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Service to Members

  • Seeks to provide valuable employment training opportunities to Members seeking long-term competitive integrated employment.
  • Coordinates with external funding agency (Regional Center) on referrals, authorizations, and billing of Members in Pathways program. Ensures Member data records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Assembles and maintains case records for Members, ensuring all are up to CARF and Regional Center standards.
  • Attends Member IPP meetings and advocates for Member's employment goals.

Employer Partnerships

  • Forges and maintains relationships with a variety of local employment partners to ensure training opportunities for our Pathways Members.
  • Seeks new employer partners as appropriate to create new opportunities for Members.

Coordination and Administration

  • Supervises Pathways programs across multiple sites.
  • Supervises Pathways Job Coaches which includes interviewing, hiring, training, supervising, scheduling, and evaluating performance.
  • Schedules agency vehicles in support of Pathways program.
  • Trains and supports ES staff and Members (as needed) with any computer or training related matters.
  • Completes Pathways monthly billing timely, correctly, and accurately, including all required documentation.
  • Works with Job Coaches to ensure timely submission of all progress notes and supporting documentation.
  • Tracks the effective date of authorizations for services. Requests updated authorizations in sufficient time to avoid expiration. Follows-up with Regional Center as required.
  • Perform regular audits and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the folders for Pathway program members, and completes incident reports as needed.
  • Acts as a substitute Job Coach as needed.
  • Responsible for completing and submitting Member and Job Coach payroll.

Leadership and Teamwork

  • Promotes a culture of communication, collaboration, and teamwork within the department to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Contributes to ES and Member events, and attend ES team meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • College level coursework in rehabilitation, human services, social work, or related experience is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Prior experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
  • Strong knowledge of person-centered care principles and best practices
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
  • Authorized to work in the United States
