CNA’s Portfolio Management Data Analytics team is seeking a Senior Consultant to drive underwriting strategy through advanced analytics, AI-enabled insights, and actionable dashboards, working closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional partners across the organization. Responsibilities Lead and manage small‑scale analytical projects that quantify business performance and evaluate operational changes. Develop and deploy automated scorecards, AI‑enabled scenario tools, and individual account analysis to support underwriting strategy. Build complex dashboards (Excel or proprietary software) and prepare reports for senior management. Interpret data, monitor trends over time, and provide actionable insights to drive outcomes. Act as a technical resource, identifying opportunities to leverage new IT solutions for analytics and reporting. Respond to ad‑hoc data requests and integrate customer, distribution, and claims data into analytical models. Report findings, insights, and recommendations to senior management. Partner with other analytical teams and participate in special projects across the organization. Provide guidance, instruction, and advice to colleagues with less experience. Apply emerging AI capabilities (prompt‑driven analysis, text summarization, decision support) to accelerate insight generation. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Solid knowledge of core functions of an insurance company and general insurance practices. Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in SQL and AI‑enabled analytics tools. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Project management, organization, and planning skills to manage multiple projects and lead teams. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other business software. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field. Typically a minimum of seven years of related work experience. Preferred property and casualty insurance background. Location Hybrid work schedule at CNA office locations including Chicago, IL; Radnor, PA; Charlotte, NC; or NewYork City, NY. #J-18808-Ljbffr
