We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in crafting and managing innovative data pipelines and solutions within our organization. Based North of Dallas, TX, this role focuses on leveraging cutting-edge technologies to design, optimize, and maintain data systems that support business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, governance, and seamless integration across platforms.Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive data strategies and pipelines that align with business needs and objectives.Develop and maintain data integration solutions using Azure Services, ETL Tools and SQL , ensuring secure and efficient data flow.Optimize MS SQL and Azure database structures and data models to improve system performance and operational efficiency.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate data requirements into actionable technical plans.Create logical and physical data models to support enterprise data warehousing initiatives.Establish and enforce standards for data governance, ensuring data quality, security, and consistency.Learn and integrate new technologies, like Snowflake, into existing frameworks to drive innovation and improve functionality.Stay updated on industry trends, evaluating and adopting modern tools and technologies to enhance data engineering, AI /ML and reporting structures. What you bring to the table:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s in Data Science, Data Analytics or related field preferred. Minimum of five years of experience in a data engineering, with a proven track record of success.Exposure to data pipeline design and architecture preferred but not required. Extensive knowledge of data engineering principles, methodologies, and practices.Proficiency in Azure services, including Data Factory, Data Lakes, and Databricks.Strong expertise in SQL databases, database optimization, and performance tuning.Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS for efficient data transformation processes.Ability to manage data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with organizational standards.The ability and desire to learn modern technologies like Snowflake
