Senior Data Scientist (Agentic AI) We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist (Agentic AI) to turn advanced research into production systems that automate complex workflows and drive measurable business impact. You'll design, deploy, and scale agentic AI, LLM and generative AI solutions that transform how we operate, serve customers, and grow - partnering directly with senior leaders on high-visibility initiatives. What You'll Do Build agentic automation: Design and deploy Agentic AI solutions to automate complex business workflows, improve decisioning, and elevate customer & employee experiences. Operationalize LLMs/GenAI: Apply cutting-edge LLMs and Generative AI to unstructured data (contracts, claims, medical records, customer interactions). Autonomous agents & reasoning: Develop autonomous/multi-step reasoning agents integrated with core platforms to deliver measurable outcomes. Production & scale: Partner with data engineering and AIOps to move from prototype to enterprise deployment—ensuring robustness, scalability, observability, and reliability. From research to impact: Translate advances in agentic AI, reinforcement learning, and reasoning into practical solutions for underwriting, claims automation, customer servicing, and risk assessment. Product partnership: Work with product owners, engineers, and business leaders to define use cases, architect solutions, and track ROI. Frameworks & standards: Contribute to the DSL's repeatable frameworks for developing, testing, and deploying agentic AI; help standardize tools and patterns across the enterprise. Mentor & uplift: Mentor junior data scientists; provide technical leadership across projects. What You'll Bring Must-Have Qualifications Education: PhD (2+ yrs), or Master's (4+ yrs) in Statistics/CS/Engineering/Applied Math or related. Experience: 3+ years hands-on AI modeling/development delivering real systems. Foundations: Strong probability & statistics; solid grasp of ML algorithms, optimization, and statistical modeling. Programming & frameworks: Python plus PyTorch and/or TensorFlow; experience with LangGraph. Agentic/LLM skills: Practical experience building LLM-based solutions and agentic systems; comfort with autonomous workflows and multi-step reasoning. Collaboration & comms: Strong communication; effective partnering across Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders. Technical leadership: Proven mentoring/technical leadership; ability to track performance and outcomes at the enterprise level. Nice to Have Experience integrating agents/LLMs with core platforms and enterprise services. Exposure to AIOps/MLOps practices (monitoring, alerting, rollback, governance).
