The Senior Database Analyst/Programmer is responsible for the design, development, and administration of enterprise data systems including Snowflake, Informix, and Oracle platforms. This role drives ETL processes, data migration strategies, and database performance tuning to support federal reporting, analytics, and operational requirements. Responsibilities Plan and execute data migration strategies between Salesforce, Informix, and Snowflake, ensuring data integrity throughout transitions.Develop and maintain ETL processes to facilitate seamless data integration and synchronization across systems.Design, develop, and maintain core upgrades and regulatory changes using the Oracle Data Integrator platform.Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement tuning measures including indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.Establish and manage backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data in compliance with federal regulations.Work closely with the Product Owner and IT Federal Project Manager to understand functional and technical requirements for DOL system changes.Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to provide data necessary for BI reporting.Actively contribute to design decisions and work with BAs, SMEs, and system owners to understand mission, architecture, and security needs.Implement and maintain database security protocols; manage user access, roles, and permissions to enforce data privacy.Maintain accurate documentation of database architecture, configurations, and change logs.Prepare and present performance reports and proposed improvements to project stakeholders.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering; Master's degree preferred.Minimum 4 years of experience in software development, including ETL tools such as Oracle Warehouse Builder or Oracle Data Integrator.Demonstrated experience with Oracle, Snowflake, and Informix databases.Experience gathering and mapping business requirements to data processes.Understanding of fundamental web development concepts.Familiarity with ODBC and JDBC connectivity for Snowflake is desirable.Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills with attention to detail.
