Job Title: Senior Design Engineer

Location: Rockton, Illinois

Job Description:

• Bs degree in Electronics / communication with 7 years experience
• Product Architecture development experience
• Experience in EMBEDDED SYSTEMS PROGRAMMING C / C++ and knowledge of low-level programming and hardware
• Expertise with microcontrollers / microprocessors. Knowledge of microcontroller (ARM Cortex / PIC / AVR)
• Should have RTOS like FreeRTOS / ThreadX / MQX / Linux concepts and implementation experience
• Knowledge with communication protocols ( I2C/ SPI/ UART / CAN)
• User Interface Development: LCD displays / buttons / touchscreens / Interface with QT / CRANK / TouchGFX ect
• Sensor Integration Knowledge (temperature, pressure, flow)
• Actuator Control: Experience with controlling actuators (motors, valves, heaters)
• Unit Testing Experience : Should be familiar with GTest, CMOKA, CppUTest, Test Driven Development
• Debugging and Testing: Proficiency in debugging techniques and tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) to troubleshoot and validate the firmware
• Safety Standards and Compliance: Knowledge of safety standards and regulations (food safety, electrical safety) that apply to the design and operation of food service equipment
• Version Control and Documentation: GIT, SVN, Bitbucket
• Control Theory: Understanding of control systems and algorithms, including PID control, to maintain desired product characteristics (temperature, consistency)
