Job Description

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a hands-on Design Engineer with a strong ownership mindset to lead the end-to-end design and development of complete systems.
  • This role is ideal for someone who has taken products from concept through development and delivery, with deep involvement in system-level design rather than individual components.
  • The ideal candidate will come from an automation or manufacturing environment and remain actively engaged in engineering work, bringing practical expertise in designing and delivering complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full system design and development lifecycle from concept through production
  • Own system architecture, design decisions, and technical execution
  • Develop and integrate mechanical systems, assemblies, and automation solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, controls, and project teams
  • Drive design validation, prototyping, and system improvements
  • Ensure designs meet performance, cost, and manufacturability requirements
  • Support continuous improvement and optimization initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of experience in mechanical or systems design
  • Proven experience in end-to-end system design ownership
  • Strong background in automation systems or manufacturing environments
  • Hands-on experience with design, development, and system integration
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of technical ownership

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

What We Are Looking For:

  • A true hands-on engineer, not a program manager or people leader
  • Someone who has designed complete systems, not just components or sub-parts
  • A candidate with a strong ownership mindset and track record of delivering products
  • Currently active in engineering and design work
