Senior DevOps Engineer (Network Infrastructure)

We are partnered with an established firm to look for a , hands-on Technical Leader to drive the transformation of a global network infrastructure into a code-driven, automated ecosystem. This is not a traditional infrastructure role; it is a Network Reliability Engineering (NRE) position designed for someone who views networking through the lens of software engineering.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and execution of long-term strategies for network automation and observability across global data centers and hybrid cloud environments.Develop production-grade automation frameworks using Ansible, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.Implement GitOps practices for network configuration management, including automated testing and continuous deployment.Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for core network domains including routing, switching, firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint), and load balancing.Integrate automation workflows with enterprise DevOps toolchains such as GitHub and Terraform.Define and implement network SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets in collaboration with SRE and platform teams.Mentor and upskill the broader network engineering team in coding standards and automation best practices.RequirementsAutomation & Scripting: Deep expertise in Ansible (collections/roles) and Python (libraries/API integrations).Network Fundamentals: Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and WAN optimization.Infrastructure as Code: Proven experience with Terraform and Git-based workflows.Security Automation: Experience automating firewall policies and compliance validation (e.g., AlgoSec).Observability: Proficiency with telemetry pipelines using Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK stacks.Vendor Exposure: Hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, Zscaler, AWS, and F5.Send your Cv to
