A day in the life: We are seeking a Senior DevOps Software Engineer to assist with software integration efforts, develop framework solutions, and maintain automated infrastructure solutions to ensure high availability and scalability of HPC systems in a Linux environment. In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders to streamline the deployment pipeline and optimize system performance. What you bring to the table: 7+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution. Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Experience with Linux CLI Experience writing scripts using Shell/Bash/Python Linux administration experience including software integration, service management, configuration management, and routine sustainment operations related to provisioning, storage, and networking Experience installing, configuring, and supporting COTS/GOTS/FOSS software, libraries, and packages in a Linux environment Software development experience with Java and Python Experience with stream/batch Big Data processing and analytical frameworks including Spark Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker Experience deploying containerized services under Kubernetes orchestration Demonstrated experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana Experience with Git for source code management, branching strategies, and team collaboration An active US Government TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph Bonus Skills: Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence) The total package: Our total compensation package includes a competitive base salary and benefits such as health, life, disability, 401k, paid time off, professional development, and generous bonus programs. Salary Range: $175,000 - $220,000 Additional perks and benefits: Up to 10% in 401k contributions, immediately vested Up to 5 weeks of leave (25 days of personal time off) and 11 paid floating holidays Company pays 100% of your premiums for comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
