Senior Director of Service Operations | Industrial Equipment | National Field Service Operations Location: Blackwood, NJ — relocation available Compensation: $130k – $165k base + bonus Our client is a well-established industrial equipment organization with a large national service footprint. They are seeking a Senior Director, Field Service to provide executive leadership for end-to-end U.S. service delivery, including a 100+ technician field organization across four regions and a centralized service operations hub supporting dispatch, parts, tracking, and billing. This role owns service strategy, execution, financial performance, leadership depth, and customer experience at a national scale. What You’ll Be Doing Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for a national field service organization (100+ technicians across four regions) Oversee and optimize a centralized service operations facility responsible for dispatching, tracking, service parts, and final billing Drive operational excellence, efficiency, and accountability across all service delivery functions Establish, monitor, and continuously improve KPIs tied to service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational performance Own service P&L, cost controls, and overall profitability Develop and execute strategies for profitable growth of refurbished equipment sales (direct and online channels) Analyze complex service performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Technical Support, and Billing Mentor senior leaders and build leadership bench strength Maintain strong, executive-level communication and visibility What You’ll Need 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale service operations (Director+ level) Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop large, distributed field service teams Background in industrial equipment service or closely adjacent industries Experience servicing both company-owned and competitor equipment Strong financial acumen with direct P&L ownership Demonstrated success optimizing operational efficiency while maintaining high customer satisfaction Exposure to refurbished equipment lifecycle management and/or sales is highly desirable Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field What’s In It For You Competitive base salary with strong bonus opportunity (target ~25%) Exceptional benefits Apply now!
