Position Overview: The Senior Director of Communications will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that align with the company's business goals and values. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in strategic communication, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic communication plan that supports the company's objectives and enhances its public image.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and key influencers. Manage media inquiries, press releases, and media events.
  • Internal Communications: Oversee internal communication strategies to ensure consistent and effective messaging across all levels of the organization.
  • Crisis Management: Lead communication efforts during crises, including developing messaging strategies and managing responses.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of high-quality content for various channels, including social media, newsletters, and the company website.
  • Brand Management: Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all communication materials and platforms.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of communication professionals. Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, investors, and community leaders.
  • Performance Measurement: Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in [Industry/Field] is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Proven track record in strategic planning and execution.
